Juan Ortiz, mostly known as "Johnny" or "John", is a member of the main four BrainScratch Crew. He is also the most well-known out of all of the group, having the most subscribers on his individal channels. Besides being in the group, he also reviews games on his solo channel, SomeCallMeJohnny, and does let's plays on his own channel, The Super Gaming Brothers (the YouTube channel can be found here).

Johnny is a big fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog series, which he says is his favourite, and loves the Metroid series as well. John also has a little brother named Elliot who joins him on his let's play channel, along with his best friend Matt and older brother Mark. After being invited to BrainScratchComms per Lewis' request, the other members have been in his reviews. He recorded the call with him, Ryan and Lewis for his original Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) review, wrote and reviewed Month of Sonic 2 with Ryan, reviewed Pokémon Generation 2 with Ryan and Ted, and reviewed Megaman 9 & 10 with Ryan. He also did a short first-impressions of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn with Lewis, who introduced him to the game in the first place (and as a result Johnny now spends an unhealthy amount of time on said game).
